It happens to the best of us. Sometimes things go haywire and things just don't behave the way you expect them to.

The Webflow team is always rolling out new features and it's hard to keep up. I can give you a deep-dive on them, showing by example how to get the most of them. I've done ALL of the tutorials so you don't have to ;)

About Me

My name is Tom, and I love to teach people to fish, so with every session I hope the person I'm working with walks away with a deeper understanding of how Webflow works. In a sense, I arm people with new super-powers.  I lost track of how many times a friend or colleague has reached out with a challenge they were having with Webflow. Whether it was how to get things to look right at the tablet and mobile breakpoints, or trying to understand why the change they made to one page broke something on lots of other pages, I was able to quickly untangle things, and to explain how it works.

I've been using Webflow since it launched way back in 2013. I've gone through 50+ hours of their University training videos, and have consumed countless hours of Youtube videos about getting the most out of it, so you don't have to.

Solved It Together

I ran into trouble with some elements on mobile. Instead of just handing me the answer, he guided me step-by-step. We fixed it fast, and now I feel confident handling it on my own. Working with Tom was super easy.

I learned a ton.

Tom was incredibly patient as he showed our team how to build intricate page scroll interactions. It turned a basic site into a fun experience. We now have a solid grasp on animating in Webflow.

Clear, encouraging, and a pleasure to work with

Our small team has recently made the move from the Adobe XD to WordPress space to using Figma to Webflow. The learning curve had been slowing us down and we needed a faster and more laser approach to be brought up to speed while simultaneously keeping up with our existing workflow. Tom took the extra time to familiarize himself with our team’s unique use of Figma, tailoring each session to address our specific needs. He started with the basics of Figma’s autolayout and components in order to utilize the Figma to Webflow Plugin. He also highlighted the more powerful capabilities of the tools, giving us a clear vision of potential. Throughout the training, he was clear, encouraging, and a pleasure to work with, making the learning process both effective and enjoyable.

FAQs

How does it work?

After you "Request a session", I'll be in touch, and we can arrange a time for our first session. You'll need to grant me access to your Webflow project so I can work within it as we screenshare, so you can learn by watching. Granting access to others is easy if you're on Agency or Freelancer plan, but if you're using the Basic plan, it's a bit trickier. But we can figure that out together, I've done this in many different ways with people.

How much does it cost?

Individual 1x1 Sessions: I charge $150/hr for one-off sessions, but also offer package deals as follows (hours do not need to be used in a single session, obviously):

  • 1 hrs for $150
  • 2 hrs for $280
  • 3 hrs for $420
  • 5 hrs for $625
  • 10 hrs for $1,000

Group Sessions: Get in touch to discuss pricing for team training sessions.

How do I pay you?

I accept Venmo, Paypal, Apple Pay and Zelle. We'll handle that once we schedule a session.

Do you do offer training sessions for teams?

Yes! In every product role I've had, I've brought Webflow in. As a key part of going live with a site, I've run training sessions with designers, marketers, customer support and business development teammates to ensure all involved are set up and ready to roll.

When you request a session, just let me know that you'd like to explore team training and we can discuss pricing and timing.

My current website is on another platform (like Wordpress / Squarespace / etc.), can you help me migrate it to Webflow?

Yes! I know it seems like a daunting process, but I can help you through it, and also guide you through the recreation of your page layouts (because those don't transfer over as easily as the data and image assets). Totally doable, and you'll be better off, as you'll have much more control over the future of your site.
